We wanted to change all that. Since then, we’ve been on a mission to make renting easier, faster and fairer, starting with our Zero Deposit Guarantee. We’ve already turned a lot of those ‘no’s’ into ‘yeses’ – over 75,900* of them to be precise. That’s the number of tenants we’ve helped move into rented properties quickly and securely. By reducing the upfront cost for renters, we’ve helped speed up the process of getting new tenants moved in which could result in more deals closed for you.
A few new changes
But we know there’s more we can do to make an even bigger world of yes. That’s why since April 6th 2021 we introduced a few changes to our services. Here are a few things to look out for...
Our fee structure has changed so tenants pay for the services they use. Our Guarantee will now cost them the equivalent of one week’s rent plus a £49 set up fee at the point they move in, and then £17.50 each year. This new fee structure will let us invest in features to make your pitch to tenants and landlords even easier.
We’ve cleared up the way we talk. Our industry can be full of fluff and jargon. To make it easier for your landlords and tenants to understand their Guarantee and when or how to make a claim, we’ve rewritten our guarantee wording.
We’re speeding up the claims process. Any issues after a tenant’s moved out? If your landlord has a claim, we’ll review their claim straight away to get a fast pay-out. Just let us know what they want to claim. You don’t even have to send evidence to get the process started. Plus, our new claims process gives you better visibility and more updates over how things are progressing.
Even more reasons for tenants and landlords to choose you. 95% of tenants polled already said they’d select a Zero Deposit agent above the rest (internal data Nov 2019). We’re introducing a number of new products and partnerships to help renters improve their financial health for their renting life.
