Internal Account Manager

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Reporting to: Sales Director
Salary: Up to £22k (depending on experience) plus 25% bonus potential, company bonus and benefits scheme

The Role

Work with our partner letting agents to provide support and exceed sales targets through effective communication and account management. It will suit a passionate individual who can use their analytical skills coupled with drive and enthusiasm to build relationships at all levels with our partners.

You will work together with colleagues internally and externally to identify where we can improve and achieve the best sales result possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales within our partner accounts
  • Reviewing account activity and providing reports
  • Engaging with accounts on the phone and driving activity
  • Building relationships internally and externally
  • Developing sales strategies and using resources available to improve Partner engagement
  • Disciplined use of CRM system, communication and customer management
  • Handling customer issues and enquiries
  • Forecasting sales performance
  • Ensuring partner agents work within the compliance framework

Key Competencies

  • A minimum of 2 years previous internal account management experience
  • Experience of selling in to the letting/property industry would be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of or experience in the property sector would be ideal
  • A self motivator who is used to exceeding their sales targets
  • Strong sales, analytical, organisation and people skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Highly organised and excellent time management skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • A team player
  • Good IT skills with knowledge of Salesforce highly desirable.
